Providing 'shelter' for the 'homeless' is one of the most pressing issues across the world.

This was an attempt to conceptualize a 'PANEL' based pre-fabricated 'HOME' using 'bamboo' as the basic structural framework and 'rattan' as the infill walling material. 

It is envisaged that the proposed 'modular' system would be mass- produced in a factory location by trained craftsmen under supervision, transported easily in parts and erected at the site. 

It is hoped that such a system would ensure better quality control thereby increasing the faith of the common man in bamboo as a 'sustainable' building material.
