BRAEPL was requested by the Client to prepare Construction Drawings for a 3 - bedroom residence outside KL City, Malaysia. 

 

The following factors were considered for the proposed design:

• Climatic Condition: 'Tropical rainforest climate'; Köppen-Geiger classification: 'Af'     

• Soil Condition: coastal alluvial with high chloride content 

• Earthquake Hazard: 'Medium' (10% chance of potentially-damaging earthquake shaking in the next 50 years.) 

• Local material availability. 

• Local culture, customs, &

• Principles of Feng Shui.
